S153 Mid Season Power Rankings!
We are at the halfway mark of the season, with some tight division races starting to develop. With 30 games to go, teams are looking to beef up their rosters as they seek to be among the top seeds in their respective wildcard & league playoffs!
These current power rankings were developed by Charlotte Magic, Minneapolis Moxostoma Mayhem (author), and Edmonton Nightcrawlers. The criteria we used varied by person but generally followed three categories:
Placement in prior rankings
Win/Loss Records and +-
Historical performance, including winrate and consistency of Division and League titles
These power rankings are not meant to reflect the current placement of a team as of 30 points, but rather the likelihood that they win the season World Series. These are very different things due to the length of the season and the difficulty of progressing through playoffs.
With that being said here is the new and improved top 25 at the 30 halfway point!

The biggest gainers of this power ranking are:
Ghost Reapers, Ducks, and Gangsters all appearing after being absent from the last ranking due to strong runs and consistent records
Rockford Raccoons moving into the top 10 from Honorable Mention
Lincoln Lawyers with an insane run and brief stint on top, gaining 17 slots!
St Johns Raptors posting an almost perfect set of games, gaining 12 slots and earning a place in the top 5. They look poised to be a contender in back-to-back Worlds!
Sumner Rockets showing some unexpected consistency to gain 11 slots and a place in the top 10
The biggest falls in this iteration are:
Deadly Sins dropping 15 slots despite an impressive 14 game win streak. Word on the street is that some of the newer teams on the block don’t understand that a mediocre Sins run is still dangerous
Defending World Champions Coho Killaz drop 11 slots despite an excellent record, largely due to their relatively low +-. Critics say this means they could fall off a cliff at any moment because they are not dominating in accordance with their results
Miami Stingers unable to string together enough wins to remain convincing for some panelists and drop 11 slots
Fighting off a strong division rival, Conquistadores fall 10 slots
